What are Challenges?
Challenges are a fun and competitive way to play games against your friends or other users on Hyper. In a Challenge, one player creates a match and invites another player to compete directly. It's a head-to-head showdown where skill determines the winner.
There are two types of Challenges:
🆓 Free Challenges
- No entry fee is required.
- No rewards are given.
- Great for friendly matches or practice.
💰 Paid Challenges
- Both players pay an entry fee using HPR (Hyper’s in-app gaming currency).
- The winner takes the prize pool.
- Higher stakes, higher reward!
Challenges can be shared directly with a friend or user via a link or username. It’s a great way to settle scores or test your skills in a direct 1v1 setting.

How to create challenges?
Challenges can be created from one of two places. Either from the Play Game Page or Navigating to the Friends Tab.
All you have to do is:
- Click on Play with friends from either of the two pages
- Choose the Game you want to create the challenge for
- Set an Entry fee (you can set it as low as 2 HPR to any amount you want, you can also set it as a free challenge)
- Choose the number of attempts each participant has
- Copy the link and share to your friend
Note: All challenges are 1v1 and can't be accessed by more than one opponent
